My students will be able to be in close proximity to the instructor during manitory Guided Reading Instruction, and during any time where a student needs extra explaining on a skill, strategy or concept. This table will also be used for small groups in Math Class. Research shows that small grouping is the most important part of instruction. Reading is a skill that is need in every subject, and the skills needed will be learned at the table requested in the project. All materials in my project will help with this instructional time and maximizing space in the classroom. All of these small things will make for a big difference.
