Flexible seating will provide my students with the learning environment that they need and deserve. I want to remove some of the uncomfortable metal desks and chairs from my classroom and replace them with a variety of colorful and comfortable seating alternatives. I am looking for donations to help me purchase wobble chairs, stools, balance balls, and bean bag chairs. Studies show that implementing flexible classrooms help improve grades, student engagement, and student-centered conversations. There are also some health benefits that result in flexible seating. Students are more active when they sit on a wobble chair or balance ball. Moving around helps the students use excess energy, increase motivation, and boost their performance.
