I would like to do a book club with my students using the book Wonder written by Palacio. Rather than do this as a read aloud I would like to read it as a group. Our school doesn't have the money to buy 10 copies of the book at this time. I think there are some great life lessons to be learned by reading this book. Some of the topics I would like to cover during this particular book study would be bullying, special needs, including others, family and friendships. I hope to do a culminating activity with my students after reading the book.
