A desktop whiteboard easel will enable students to see written examples during small group lessons in reading, writing, word study and math. This will aide students in their learning as it provides a visual for them to work from. All students in the classroom participate in small group lessons, which is more individualized and conducted in a smaller group setting to allow for meeting students where their needs are. A desktop easel whiteboard will help in guided reading as it allows the teacher to model, take notes and provide students a reference as needed during guided reading groups. The magnetic letters will provide students with manipulatives to aide them in their word study work as they use them to make and spell words. The desktop whiteboard easel will also be used in other core subject areas such as writing and math.
