I would love to have the opportunity for my students to create artwork inspired by children's literature and storytelling. The supplies that I have requested would be used in my art class on a regular basis and would significantly impact the quality of the artwork we would be able to create. The art program is brand new this year at our school and the students are in need of paint and construction paper for their art projects. With the paint and paper, students will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative projects that can be proudly displayed in our hallways. I will also be able to teach the children about color mixing and different application methods. Many of my students have very little experience with painting and this would be a wonderful opportunity for them to explore a new medium while learning about literature as well.
