My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. Second grade is such an exciting grade! My students are excited about learning. My students are growing and making new connections about the world around them! Second grade is truly a magical year. I teach at a Title I school in Georgia where many of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Some of my students receive backpack food on the weekend. Despite many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best.
