We would like to increase the opportunity for students to showcase their photography skills while documenting events that happen around our school and community. There has been an increase in interest over the past two years for students to take photos at various events. Unfortunately, we only have one camera to let students use. This past year we had multiple occasions where students were not able to photograph at events they wanted as others were using the one we had. One student said, "We love when you take photos at events because you do not charge us for the pictures". Students love seeing the many photos we take of them at school events. All photos that are taken are shared with the team, club, class, etc... that are being photographed. This year we have more interest from a variety of students including some that want to do photography on a regular basis at extracurricular events. A second camera will allow multiple students to take photos at different locations at the same time. The more we are able to encourage this creativity the more memories we can capture.
