Most of my students do not have access to laptops or desktops at home. Some of my children are very uncomfortable using technology and it takes a while for them to overcome the fear of getting in trouble if something should break. My students with special needs must practice frequently to master skills that come easily to other students. The more they use technology the more they learn and the internet has opened their world. These laptops will allow my students the extra time they need to overcome their fear of technology and to develop a comfort level in using keyboards.
