This new seating area, designated by the Ameristrong Classroom carpet, will be used by all my students everyday. All middle school students are required to read to continue to improve their vocabulary and reading comprehension skills. Each year we struggle to get students excited and motivated about reading. With this alternative seating area including flex comfy couch and calming colors bean bag chairs it will allow our students the ability to read in an a relaxed environment there by creating excitement and motivation without struggle. This seating area can be used as incentive for the students to complete assignments so they can sit in the cool comfortable seats. Making reading fun means actually seeing improvement and success for students. Our title 1 school has a high ELL and low income population and reading is the key to their learning.
