Students will use Chromebooks to access the various sites the district has funded membership for, as well as other educational sites that will provide academic practice. These sites include Mobymax, Lexia, AR, as well as others. Putting devices in students' hands, prepares them for twenty-first century learning. The experience they will get not only provides academic support, it will familiarize them with the digital experience that will be required of them in the near future. Surrounding districts are already using one device per student, so these devices are vital to maintain a leveled playing field for my students. These few Chromebooks will be a part of a center where students will learn new skills, practice skills, and network with peers.
