As a teacher, I want my students to be successful with their education. In order for them to be successful, they need to feel comfortable in their learning environment. My students LOVE laying on the floor while they work on class work, but like most schools, our floor is just a slab of concrete with carpet glued to it, making their favorite place to learn extremely uncomfortable. Most students use their sweatshirts, coats, and even backpacks to soften their workspace on the floor. By adding this rug to our room, it will create a comfortable area for my students to work on as well as create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
