Having the choice to wiggle, move your feet, sit on the floor, or stand while you learn is proven to increase focus and engagement in the classroom. The choice to have a wiggle seat or a bouncy band would give my students the power of choice. Many of my students love to balance precariously on 2 legs of their chair. Over the years I have seen many students lose balance and tip over. The wiggle seat will stop this dangerous activity. We are often using Chromebooks in our classroom. The students like to take them to the floor. With the help of the portable laptop desk, the kids will pair their choice of seat with a more comfortable learning position. Imagine walking into a classroom abuzz with learning, what do you see? You would see engagement, smiles, and students using ALL the spaces in their classroom. Your donation will help create the classroom of my students' dreams. We would use your contributions to differentiate seating and accommodate all learning styles.
