My first grade students require movement throughout the day. These wobble chairs will provide them with alternative seating options that provide them with the movement they require and need. These chairs will create an engaging, inviting classroom. Classroom environments should be conducive to open collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. This simply cannot be done with students sitting in traditional desks all day. We will use the wobble chairs throughout the day during Reader's Workshop, Writer's Workshop, Science, Social Studies, and Math rotations. Research has shown movement improves learning. My students would be positively impacted by this donation! We need to provide learning spaces for all learners! The wobble chairs will be a start to meeting that goal!
