Our kids are excited about the possibility of learning a sport most of them have never played. We are moving towards more life long fitness activities and badminton is a way for them to play for a long time. We need a complete class set of badminton equipment to expand their lifetime physical activities. Most of our students have never picked up a badminton racket. Typically they get to play the stereotypical sports such as basketball, football, and baseball. Badminton allows anyone to be competitive but most importantly be active and have fun. When a student is self conscience about their athletic ability it tends to impair their ability to really participate. Opening up this new sport to them will improve their confidence not only in PE but also in the classroom.
