Technology is the way of the future and many of the students have not had the privilege to explore that world. My hope is that my students will learn that there is more to our world than what is immediately surrounding them. We try to incorporate as much technology into the classroom that we possibly can. Unfortunately, there aren't enough iPads and computers to go around. The Chromebooks will be used on a daily basis. We will utilize the Raz Kids web-based reading program on the Chromebooks. The students will be able to access Google Classroom using the Chromebooks. We will use it for research in all academic areas. These students thrive on technology in the classroom, especially the special education students within the class. Many students do not have the confidence to read aloud. This gives the students a perfect way to read, write, explore, and research at their own pace.
