My students need these materials to not only learn about sculpture but experience it for themselves. These materials will be used right away explore the new medium and unleash their creativity. We will be using the clay and tools to create a three dimensional work of art. We will finish these pieces by painting them with tempera. Many students will find it easier to work with their hands as opposed to drawing or painting. This experience will give those students another means of expression and allow their inner artist to flourish. I have no art budget, and I alone cannot afford to provide these materials for them. Your generous donation to our project will improve their overall learning experience and make art class extra fun! Together, we can set their imaginations free!
