These students will be using the color printer to see pictures in a realistic, detailed way, which is something the black and white printer does not provide. For example, to encourage language at home, my students each have a communication notebook in which a picture and summary of something we did that day is included everyday. They can talk about what they did at school with their parents at home. Something that might not occur without the notebook and pictures. This project will help my students with a hearing loss see the real world in greater detail and thus increase vocabulary and language development.
