This is the second year of a free, after-school, teacher-run Robotics program for children in an under-served, high poverty area. Last year the group was able to participate in an area wide competition, AND THEY WON! Elementary students out-thought and out-coded Middle Schoolers! They are SO EXCITED about robotics and coding that we've expanded to include more children this year. We simply need another robot! The creativity and intuitive understanding of the children grows by leaps and bounds when they get feedback. The more robots available, the faster that feedback will be. Our school already provides laptops for each child to use at school AND AT HOME, so many are working on their coding during their free time. Will you help us make their programs a reality?
