Chromebooks are low-cost and will give my students an affordable alternative. I would like to have students use Google Apps , free online applications for word processing, spreadsheet work and presentations. Furthermore they will also help students prepare for the online testing. As stated by Rajen Sheth, director of product management, "If you look at the overall markert for devices in education, it's actually expanded a lot and Chromebooks have actually taken a lot of the expansion." The use of Chromebooks and Google Apps will increase the critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration in our classroom. Students will have the opportunity to work one-on-one on projects and accentuate their learning.
