The requested iPads will be used to help bridge learning barriers between a diverse setting of students. The iPads will help to ensure a level learning field for all students in my classroom. Students will use the iPads to aid in translation of classroom material and conversations from English to Spanish and back again. This will aid students in communicating with their peers and the teacher. Students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities will be able to utilize Google Chrome to take their tests and notes on the iPads to ensure optimal chances for success as well as have the capabilities of oral administration of tests available through the iPad. All students in my class will benefit by utilizing the iPads for research, communication, and simply learning to use technology as many of my students do not have access to technology outside of the school setting and the technology in my classroom is obsolete.
