Through the use of interactive student notebooks my students will be able to be more creative and have more ownership in the way they take notes in math. The supplies I need will not only help my freshmen students to better understand Alegbra I concepts but will also help to improve their organizational skills as well. Rather then traditional textbooks these supplies will allow students to make their own personalized "textbook". These books will not only be essential to learning Algebra I but will be something the students take with them throughout all their high school math classes. In addition, due to the increase in my class sizes I am in need of 5 more graphing calculators to complete my class set. As part of our curriculum we incorporate the use of graphing calculators to help students learn how to better use the technology around them.
