I love teaching sixth grade! Students at my school are eager to learn and love using technology whenever they can. I love learning new ideas, and finding various ways of integrating technology into my classroom. Also, because every student learns at a different pace, technology helps me to individualize the curriculum to best meet the needs of all students; from those who are working at a 3rd grade level, all the way to my students who are on an upper middle school level. I love to watch my students learn new concepts and work together to solve problems/issues using technology. Frequently, they have been know to teach me a thing or two! I believe we cannot teach today's students like we did those students in the past. In order to best prepare students for the fast-changing world of technology, students need access tech and supervision in guiding their learning on that technology.
