Students were not made to sit in their chair for eight hours a day listening to a teacher lecture or work on an assignment. Through this project, I will be providing my students the opportunity to choose a seat that works best for them through the use of flexible seating. Through choice and movement with the different stools, it will allow my students to work somewhere in the classroom that gives them the ability to focus. My project will make a difference for students who struggle to focus, while trying to learn. This projects will not teach students how to focus, rather it will give their body time to wiggle and move in their seat, while also allowing their brain to focus longer on a task. Through choice and movement, the use of the stools will allow their knowledge to grow and develop.
