The fluorescent lighting in the classroom can be overstimulating for some of my students on the Autism spectrum or those with sensory sensitivity. I will use these filters to cover the fluorescent light panels in my classroom. Currently there are 28 fluorescent light panels in my classroom. The filters will soften the fluorescent lighting in the classroom and they will create a more comfortable learning environment for my students. I hope to give my students an opportunity to learn and succeed to their fullest potential, in a space that feels comfortable and safe.
