My middle school students are really into technology. Our current technology is older and doesn't work all the time. Some of our current cameras are very old and we can't use them. Adding a new camera will allow my students to plan the announcements without worrying if a camera will work or not. Adding the green screen and teleprompter is exciting for my students. They can use the iPad to write up announcements rather than printing on pieces of paper and having someone hold it and hope they don't drop it as its being read. Having a green screen will allow for a better appearance and background for the students on camera. The announcement club wants to make the announcements more professional and interesting for the rest of the school. This will create more interest in the club as students move into 7/8 grade. The students enjoy working on the different aspects of the club. Some students enjoy being on camera and some like being behind the scenes. Adding new equipment will enhance the experience of the students in the club and also the rest of the school will be able to enjoy a more professional and exciting DM in the AM.
