In my enrichment Kindergarten classroom, technology brings an exciting component of learning to our daily routines. Tablets in my classroom will be used to explore different apps to assist them in phonological awareness, reading, and handwriting. Kindle fires allow them to use apps which make learning to read and write exciting! Technology gives opportunities to experience a different structure of learning in our classroom and encourages hands on experiences through literacy. In addition to a broad array of available apps, these tablets allow access to other learning opportunities like listening to stories. Tablets are kid friendly, and inexpensive, which is perfect for my classroom of energetic children!
