The materials and supplies I am requesting will help enhance my teaching of PE to my students. I teach PE to my first graders 4 days a week for roughly 30 minutes each day. I work on gross motor skills like jumping, running, sliding, catching, kicking, and throwing. With the jump ropes, scoop balls, hurdles, and agility ladders, they will help increase the stamina in cardio, and strengthen students' mobility skills. I'll also use the hurdles in conjunction with other PE equipment to create obstacle courses for strength and challenges. I work with my students on team-building skills, as well as improving individual strength and coordination. After being inside learning the fundamental school subjects, PE time seems to be a wonderful brain break for students.
