The use of hand tools and power tools is almost a daily activity in my classroom. The materials being asked for will compliment the guitar making class that was started at our school. We often have to share tools and this increases the time required for many of the tasks. The added tools will enable my students to finish tasks more quickly and with greater accuracy. The added cordless drill will be used for shaping the body of the guitars, drilling holes, and attaching fasteners. Multiple courses will benefit from the addition of a new cordless drill. An added cordless drill would be a welcome addition to my Technology Education courses.
