Having an easel in the classroom to use during book discussions will not only help students with reading skills, but it will also allow them to take ideas from the books and put it into print. Having a leveled library, with books at levels A-F will also encourage them to read. With the book bins, they can easily find books at their level. As they develop reading skills, having books at their own level to read is HUGE for them. By giving them books they can be successful with, they will grow confidence, which will help show them that reading can be fun, and isn't just a chore. Without these books, they will likely be looking at books beyond their reading level, which will only frustrate them.
