I am requesting these iPads and headphones to help my students to become better readers. This program that will be used is a hands-on learning app that helps with reading. The students are fully engaged and are eager to learn! This program is so fun, they don't even know they are learning! These technology items will allow them to have time to learn on Smarty Ants. They will be able to have more opportunities to learn, rather than occasionally learning with our three older computers. This will give them extra opportunities to practice reading during center time, which will, in turn, improve their reading scores.
