My students will be motivated to take risks to complete these language hands-on explorations. They will gain confidence with a sense of pride of completing task in a new setting. My students/day kids will learn to communicate properly and collaborate with others while working together with these learning tools. Kindergarten students need small tasks to complete to hold their attention and these tools, such as Gumball Grab or Word Rods, give them plenty of these opportunities. Their language skills will be enhanced with new vocabulary because they will have to describe verbally and in writing how and what they did to complete each task either to me or their learning buddy.
