Replacing some of our students' most beloved books will allow the students to continue to foster their love of reading in the aftermath of the destruction of Hurricane Ida. Students will be able to check out books to take home to read, participate in the Accelerated Reading program, and boost their literacy skills in a comfortable environment. Many of our students need the opportunity to find a book that is high interest and on their grade level, so rebuilding our library is paramount to their future success as young readers. Additionally, it doesn’t hurt to escape into the pages of a good book!

About my class
