In an effort to improve school community and student engagement, my students have come up with an idea to make video announcements. The Sony a6300 is an excellent camera that shoots video at 4k. My students will be using the camera to plan, shoot, edit, and produce video announcements for my school. This video camera would be a means for students to engage in project managing, video production, and collaboration. Using the sony a6300, my students can create high quality video announcements for the school. They will get an opportunity to work collaboratively to edit announcements, anchor news, and manage production. These video announcements are intended to increase student engagement with activities and clubs at our school site.
