I have selected a wide variety of reading materials to enhance my classroom library. These materials will help students reading at a range of levels to learn reading strategies and develop their love of reading. Having an updated library with "just right" reading material that is relevant, current, enjoyable and at just the right level for students is key in developing literacy and a love for reading. I plan to build my library, as well as use the periodicals and book sets in small group instruction to provide students with concrete and direct literary instruction at their specific reading ability level.
