The students will be using these new materials during literacy and math centers in small groups of 4 students. They will be introduced by the teacher and then guided through the process until the students are able to independently use the centers on their own. They will be learning skills such as sorting, making patterns, working with letters and sounds. These are vital skills that children need to become better readers and future leaders in literacy and math. This project will improve the literacy and math centers by giving us more hands-on manipulatives that are child friendly and engaging. By making a donation to this project you will be helping my students become more independent in math and literacy. These students will be able to have a hands-on learning experience that will be meaningful and memorable.
