Currently in third grade, we only have 20 laptops for 120 students to share! This project, if funded will provide vital technology to students that is imperative to their learning. The laptops will be used for both ELA and Math, primarily for learning games which are to help them reinforce the important skills they have learned. By providing students with technology, they will have another tool to increase their understanding of new concepts. This can be as simple as practicing math facts, but doing so in a much more fun and exciting way. Technology is an everyday part of our lives, including our children! It has revolutionized they way things are made and done, so why shouldn't it be used to revolutionize education? In many schools, students are each given a laptop or iPad. It is my goal to give my students as much as an opportunity provided by other schools.

About my class
