Many teachers in the science department teach Advanced Placement and IB classes. In order to effectively teach how data analysis is done with graphs our students need copies to work with. A color copier will allow the science teachers to share different charts, tables, and graphs with the students. The printers that are available to the science teachers are black and white. While many things can be shown using black and white, often color makes the concepts clearer and easier to understand. The printer and ink will make teaching science graphing concepts accessible to all students, not just the students in the advanced classes.
