The Adams Elem. band is comprised of 5th grade students who are beginners on various woodwind, brass and percussion instruments. We learn how to read and write music, count rhythms, play simple melodies on instruments, and perform together a performing ensemble. The Adams Elem. band is just the first step to a musical journey that begins in Elementary, continues in Middle school and ends in High School concert and marching band.
