All of theses supplies will allow for my stations and teaching to maintain a high level of student engagement. The puppets would afford the opportunity for me to creatively teach a lesson through the voice of another. The Play-dough stamps would allow the students to practice spelling (sight words and weekly spelling words). The science materials would give them the opportunity to learn using a more "hands on - minds on" approach (see Gardner's Multiple Intelligences). Overall, the impact of this generous gift would enable me to be a better teacher and ultimately, would benefit the students in my class.
