Currently, my students lug their books around in a flimsy cardboard magazine holder from IKEA. They started falling apart about 3 months into school. Book boxes randomly falling over and splitting open during our reading block is becoming increasingly distracting. The students need a reliable book box to call their own. To encourage reading at home, they also need a durable reading bag to take for homework. Donating to our project will foster reading in our classroom. My students already love to read, but they need something to keep their favorite books organized and available. In order to keep our classroom differentiated, we need to have book boxes for each student full of good fit books (books on their individual level). Your donation will also provide students with homework reading bags, which will encourage reading at home.
