In our class we are trying to develop persistence, resilience and determination to be successful. The Rubik's Cube is a classic toy that is a fun way to practice logic and problem-solving. In our class where so many students are second language learners this provides a non-verbal way to improve our growth mindset while having fun. By using the solutions manual to learn Rubik's Cube solution algorithms the students will be able to break down solutions into steps. The Rubik's Cube fits in with STEM education goals. Students can learn to think critically and effectively solve puzzles. This fits in nicely into the scientific process. I hope you will consider helping us with this project.
