The Chromebooks requested will allow my students to access the online literacy programs such as Raz-Kids, Lexia Core 5 and Smarty Ants. These programs provide great explicit, differentiated instruction at the student's personalized level and provide teachers with accurate data to best meet the needs of students with learning disabilities. Unfortunately, my students do not have access to technology. Visiting the computer lab once a week for 30 minutes is not enough time to really benefit from the online programs. Chromebooks will also facilitate my delivery of instruction in the classroom as I provide multiple strategies and differentiate to meet the instructional needs of my special needs students.
