I will have the bungee chairs in my classroom as a safe place for my students with attention issues to work and read. Studies show that students with attention issues learn better while being able to move while working. My hope is to have less students playing with the things in their desks and more time focused on the work assigned. Third grade requires more independent work from the students and I really believe that having the bungee chairs in my classroom will provide a successful outlet for the students who have a hard time staying focused in the classroom.
