At our school students are expected to be silent in the hallway. Our class has had trouble following this expectation. Some commented that we sound like a zoo walking through the hall. To help motivate students, I decided to use gum as an incentive to help our students make good choices and follow the expectation. So far the incentive has been awesome. Students are working hard to earn gum twice a day and are following the school expectation of being silent in the hallway. We are hoping to keep this positive incentive going. Thank you for your help and support.
