My Mustangs have a diverse range of learning needs and exceptionalities. I work with a group of students who have intellectual disabilities, orthopedic impairments, specific learning disabilities, visual needs and children with autism. These students range from third to sixth grade and are a part of the severely handicapped program in my district. I aim to change the way we think about students with special needs and create an environment where we don't judge students by what they have, but value them for who they are.
