I would love to give my students another way of learning about the world around them and retain the information in front of them. The online resources from the Kindle Fire tablets will do just that. My students use math programs like Front Row, Epic, ABCya, Brain pop jr., Khan Academy and more. I want to offer them these programs as needed and not just when are available at the school. I want to be able to include these tablets as part of my lesson planning for ALL subjects. For science with STEM activities, and social studies, my plan is to tailors my small group lessons to the students needs. The tablets will assist with that process after my one on one time with them ends for the subject. We have centers for math and reading each day, but my students always want and need more. Having tablets with headphones will give me the flexibility to include centers for science and social studies also. These tablets will make it easy to manage centers and small groups. Learning will be even more fun. The tablets will help motivate, and stimulate their minds and bodies and they will grow faster academically every day.
