The materials I am requesting will be rotated into a STEM station. At this station, students work in teams, to solve the problem that is being asked. Not only will these materials help students use their scientist brain to problem solve, but they will also help promote cooperation and communication. Students often want to return to these stations to help new comers at the station or to build their own confidence by succeeding at the task. These materials will help my students experiment, fail, learn and repeat ...... until success! These particular science kits are extra motivating because they are extensions of literacy units that are done in the classroom.

About my class
