Technology integration has become a huge part in the classroom over this past year. Students are very familiar with tablets and iPads and I want to begin to incorporate the use of tablets in my classroom. The iPad can work together with my smart board and give us endless opportunities in the classroom. “Teachers need to integrate technology seamlessly into the curriculum instead of viewing it as an add-on, an afterthought, or an event.” - Heidi Hayes Jacobs. They will also be able to choose apps that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these apps will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in technology, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with technology.
