Unfortunately, my classroom library does not have enough books to service my low readers. Reading is such an important skill that needs to be mastered by third grade; I want to ensure I give ALL my students a fair and equitable opportunity to master this skill. My project focuses on reading and making it accessible to all students in a safe manner. These books will allow my low readers to access literature they can read independently. I have also included materials like paints and paintbrushes that will allow me to fuel my students’ curiosity and love of learning.
