In my classroom, students come to school to learn through doing, playing and exploration. I teach my students through songs, chants, cooperative play, hands-on stations, and body movement. We have fun but we take our learning seriously! There are 23 young learners in my class. With a combination class of transitional kindergarten and kindergarten I have students ranging from four to six years old. Each student has a different personality to make up a beautiful quilt of: toothless smiles, fearless leaders, and lovable antics! Their school day is filled with singing, reading, creating, building, writing, and messes. My students are always up for a challenge and anything with glitter, or silliness! We work hard and play hard to enrich our lives with a love of learning, playing, and creating.
